Putting My Experience
to Work for North Georgia
My name is Stacy Hall and I would like to be your State Senator.
I’m a born-again Christian who loves his wife, family and community. My wife Ivy and I have been married for 19 years. We are the parents of two energetic teenagers and serve as a host family for two incredible international students at Truett McConnell University.
I bring a unique blend of experience that will benefit District 50:
BUSINESS. I worked in a corporate setting for 13-plus years, predominately with ISP Sports/IMG College in a fast-paced environment leading corporate negotiations and property profitability for many D1 college athletic programs, including the SEC conference. Equally, I am grounded in small business, as my wife and I currently own and operate a local real estate development company.
Stacy Hall is grounded in small business as he and his wife own and operate a local real estate development company in Habersham County, Georgia.
Stacy has 13+ years working as an executive in Division 1 college athletics including working with the SEC conference.
Stacy is currently serving in his 4th year as a Habersham County Commissioner, and his second year as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners.
Stacy is a graduate of the Georgia Academy of Economic Development and Leadership Georgia.
Stacy understands business and knows that education is the key to developing a 21st-century workforce.
EDUCATION. With more than 12 years in the classroom, I have taught at every level of education – elementary, middle, high school, undergraduate and graduate-level college classes as well as special needs.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT. Elected to the Habersham County Board of Commissioners in 2016, I will honor my four-year term ending in December 2020, serving as chairman in 2019 and 2020. With my fellow commissioners, we have tackled many significant challenges and opportunities for Habersham County, including:
Maintaining one of the lowest tax rates in the state
Creating efficiencies in local government spending
Leveraging state and federal grants
Working to create financial stability for Habersham Medical Center
Protecting constitutional rights as the first county in the state of Georgia to become a Second Amendment sanctuary county
Additionally, my experience includes:
Chairman – Habersham County Hospital Authority (2018)
Chairman – White County Chamber of Commerce (2014•2015)
Graduate of Leadership Georgia (2015)
Graduate of Leadership Habersham (2015)
Graduate of Georgia Academy of Economic Development (2013)
Vice-Chair – Fellowship of Christian Athletes (2013-15)
Strategic Planning Committee + Partner – Habersham Economic Development Council (2017-Present)
Executive Committee for Habersham Archway Partnership (2015-17)
Habersham County Delegate for District (2015•2016) and State (2015•2016•2017) GOP Convention
Board of Directors – United Way (2012-15)
I am also a member of Level Grove Baptist Church, Habersham County GOP, Habersham County Chamber of Commerce, NRA and Georgia Carry and I volunteer as a youth basketball coach.
God has prepared me for the role of service; I have done my best to honor that calling in my community. I now seek to serve the people of Senate District 50 using my experiences in business, education and local government to enrich the lives of my family, friends and neighbors.
I pledge to support the constitution and second amendment rights, to protect the rights of the unborn, to support our farmers and educators and to attract new jobs to our area.
I will listen to the concerns of the residents of District 50 and seek solutions to protect and improve our quality of life.
I have a strong record of service and will not shy away from the tough decisions and will work hard for those I represent.
I would love to earn and honor your vote.
